Doelz Networks Signs Contract With PacTel Unit

Doelz Networks Inc. in Irvine said it has signed a two-year contract with PacTel Connection to supply two Doelz electronic switching products that direct computer messages between banks and within banks.

Jim Ream, director of marketing for Doelz, would not disclose the amount of the contract or the number of Doelz products to be sold, but said it was a multi-million dollar award. The contract has options to cancel after the first year or extend beyond the termination, he said.

PacTel Connection is a division of PacTel Communications Systems of Walnut Creek, Calif., which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Pacific Telesis Group of San Francisco.

Doelz Networks is a privately held computer products company.
