2 Palestinians Sentenced

TEL AVIV —
A military court in Lod gave life prison sentences to two Palestinians who pleaded guilty to killing two Jews last June. The court rejected the defense argument that the men “saw in every Jew a representative of the occupied powers in so far as every Jew served in the Israeli army.” Under Israel’s reserve system, all men from 18 to 54 serve about a month of reserve army duty.
