Brochure Tells About Mortgages on the Market

An updated version of “How to Shop for a Mortgage” has been published by the Mortgage Bankers Assn. of America and is being distributed by the California Mortgage Bankers Assn. at no charge.

The publication discusses the advantages and disadvantages of more than 10 kinds of mortgages. “We believe this brochure will help guide consumers through the home-finance supermarket well-stocked with many different mortgage types,” Robert W. Roman, president of the California Mortgage Bankers Assn., said.

Consumers may receive the guide by sending their request with a self-addressed, stamped 10 (business-size) envelope to CMBA, 1127 11th St., Suite 534, Sacramento 95814.
