UCI Loses to UCSB in Water Polo, 11-10

Second-ranked UC Irvine dropped an 11-10 water polo decision to UC Santa Barbara in Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. play at UCSB Saturday. The Gauchos won on a penalty shot by John Anderson with 46 seconds left in the second overtime.

UCI (10-2, 21-7) clinched the PCAA title last week.
