$250,000 Reward for Abbas

WASHINGTON —
The State Department announced today that it is posting a $250,000 reward for information leading to the capture and conviction of Abul Abbas, accused by the United States of being the mastermind behind the hijacking of the Achille Lauro.
In announcing the reward, the State Department said it does not know where Abbas is now but has seen reports that he has been in Iraq and South Yemen.
