An agreement in principle between the London Stock Exchange and the National Assn. of Securities Dealers will allow U.S. investors to see prices of as many as 300 London-traded stocks on the NASD’s automated quotation system, or NASDAQ. British investors will see prices of as many as 200 NASDAQ issues on the London exchange’s computerized quote system. The venture, which would be the first tangible step toward an international stock trading link, could begin operating as early as March, following regulatory and other approvals.
