AHMANSON AIDE TAKES POST IN ORANGE COUNTY

Robert Pinger, a staff administrator with the Ahmanson Theatre at the Music Center, has been hired as director of marketing and audience development by the Orange County Performing Arts Center.
Pinger, 38, who will assume his Orange County post Jan. 2, has been the Ahmanson’s director of advertising and patron relations for eight years. He was was also assistant press director with the Los Angeles Music Center Operating Co. for two years.
Pinger will be assuming a newly created marketing post at the Orange County Center, which is now under construction in Costa Mesa. The center’s $70.7-million main phase, including a 3,000-seat multipurpose theater, is set to open in October.
