Dedication of City’s Largest Garage Held
The city’s largest garage has been dedicated by Los Angeles Councilman Gilbert W. Lindsay at Citicorp Plaza, 7th and Figueroa streets.
Now nine stories with 1,600 parking spaces, the structure’s subsequent phases of construction will bring it to 18 stories and a capacity for 4,300 automobiles.
Oxford Properties is owner/developer of the Citicorp Plaza complex, and CitiPark International Inc. operates the garage. The Los Angeles Community Redevelopment Agency helped with the financing and is owner of 500 parking spaces in the new structure.
