Egypt’s Action Against Hijackers
I applaud the storming of the Egyptian airliner. At least somebody realizes that negotiating with terrorists, as if they were some high-ranking diplomats, is so utterly stupid and can only result in more of this terrorist nonsense around the globe. That innocent passengers had to die is most unfortunate, but the fact that they took their murderers with them will make other extremist idiots think twice about getting aboard a plane and waving a gun around.
Any passenger aboard a hijacked plane must assume that he will die. It therefore becomes his responsibility to subdue the hijackers at all costs, just as it is a captured soldier’s duty to escape.
