Sea Turtles Flown to Florida After Cold Water Rescue

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. —
Four migrating subtropical sea turtles rescued from the frigid waters off Long Island returned to healthier, warmer climes Sunday after flying south free in reserved seats.
“They’re having a good time. We put them into the non-smoking section,” said Charlie Ireland, a reservation clerk for Florida Flights-Sterling Public Charter, which operated the DC-9 that brought the turtles to Fort Lauderdale.
