John A. (Jack) Bertch, 51, has been hired as vice president for U.S. sales at MSI Data Corp., a newly created position for the Costa Mesa seller and servicer of portable data collection systems. Bertch has 25 years of sales management experience, most recently with Alpha Microsystems in Irvine.
