John Seitman, a business attorney, has been named president of the 4,000-member San Diego County Bar Assn.
The 43-year-old lawyer, who lives in Encinitas and practices in San Diego, succeeds Deputy Dist. Atty. Melinda Lasater, the bar’s first woman president. Seitman was installed Friday.
Seitman is a 1966 graduate of the University of Illinois School of Law and a principal in the firm of Ellsworth, Corbett, Seitman & McLeod.
Other new officers named were Marc Adelman, Marilyn Huff, William McGuigan, Christine Pate and Thomas Warwick Jr.
