Santa Ana : Power Outage Affects 1,900 Edison Customers
Failure in an underground electrical station knocked out power for nearly an hour Wednesday to an estimated 1,900 Southern California Edison Co. customers, a company official said.
The power outage began at 3:39 p.m. and affected the area around Harbor Boulevard between Warner Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard, Edison spokesman Gene Carter said.
Service was restored by 4:25 p.m.
Carter said the cause of the failure was under investigation.
He said the outage occurred in a mostly commercial and light industrial area in the southwestern part of the city.
