Palestinian leaders from the occupied territories will go to Jordan to try to persuade Palestine Liberation Organization leader Yasser Arafat to accept U.N. Security Council Resolution 242, which implicitly recognizes Israel, Palestinian sources said in Jerusalem. According to the sources, among those on the mission will be Hanna Siniora, a Palestinian moderate from East Jerusalem; Rashid Shawa, former mayor of Gaza in the Gaza Strip, and Mustafa Natshe, former mayor of Hebron in the West Bank.
