Brea police are investigating the second shooting in two days at Alpha Beta supermarket delivery trucks on the Orange Freeway near Lambert Road, police said.

About 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, a small-caliber bullet lodged in the windshield center post of an Alpha Beta truck traveling north on the freeway, said Lt. Jim Winder. The driver was not injured, he said.

About 7:40 p.m. Tuesday, Glen Milberger, 26, of Alta Loma, the driver of another Alpha Beta truck traveling south in the same area of the freeway, was hit in the thigh by a shot that pierced the truck’s cab, Winder said.

A security guard riding in the truck drove it to the Alpha Beta distribution center in La Habra, where Milberger was treated by paramedics, then transported to St. Jude Hospital in Fullerton, where he was treated and released, Winder said.
