Union leaders in the 41-day Southern California supermarket strike-lockout prepared Saturday to report to their members on the status of the dispute.

Teamsters met Saturday night at the Anaheim Hilton with negotiators for the Food Employers Council. Also present were representatives of the United Food and Commercial Workers union.

The unions scheduled a series of membership meetings today to report on the status of negotiations.

Meanwhile, in one of a series of acts of vandalism apparently related to the strike, tear gas released in a Ralphs market in Manhattan Beach sent three people to a hospital Saturday afternoon with complaints of breathing difficulties, police said.
