CBS sold a publishing unit and some toy assets.
The company said it signed a definitive agreement to sell Praeger Publishers, a unit of the CBS educational and professional publishing division, to Greenwood Press, a subsidiary of Congressional Information Service. Separately, View-Master International Group said it agreed in principle to acquire certain assets of the Ideal portion of CBS’ toy division.
