Bishop Graphics’ Earnings Fall 49% in Final Quarter

Bishop Graphics, citing a soft computer and electronics market, said its profits fell 49% to $124,000, or 5 cents a share, in the fourth quarter ended Sept. 30. For the year, the company’s earnings dropped 54% to $492,000, or 21 cents a share.

The Westlake Village-based company, which makes drafting supplies for designers of printed circuit boards used in personal computers, said its sales in the quarter declined 4% to $3.3 million and fell 9% for the year to $13.4 million.
