Local News in Brief : Hairdresser Is Found Slain in N. Hollywood
Los Angeles police are investigating the stabbing death of a 28-year-old hairdresser, whose body was found Sunday afternoon in his North Hollywood apartment.
The body of Kenneth Shamley, who had been stabbed in the upper body, was found by a friend about 2:17 p.m. in his apartment in the 6300 block of Lankershim Boulevard, Lt. Ron La Rue said.
There were no signs of robbery, and the motive for the killing has not yet been determined, La Rue said.
