The U.S. Consulate gave right-wing Rabbi Meir Kahane, a member of the Israeli Parliament, a document stating that he has lost his American citizenship, Israel radio said Tuesday.

Neither the consulate nor Kahane was immediatly available for comment on the report.

The radio said the consulate rejected a demand by Kahane that he be guaranteed entry into the United States at all times. Kahane had told the consulate he would accept the loss of his citizenship if he were given the guarantee, the radio said.

The Reagan Administration said in October that it would strip Kahane of his American citizenship on the grounds that he had transferred his primary loyalty to Israel.
