The Israeli army closed the largest univeristy n the occupied West Bank for the second straight day after weekend rallies in support of the Palestine Libeeration Organization. An Israeli military spolesman said that soldiers stopped faculty and students from entering An Najah University, 50 miles north of Jerusalem. The spokesman said confiscated material included instructions on preparing explosive devices. An Najah spokesman Saeb Erakat accused the army to trying to disrupt a student council election campaign. The election is scheduled for Dec. 30.
