Eastern DC-9 Lands Safely After Engine Loses Power

MELBOURNE, Fla. —
An Eastern Airlines DC-9 carrying 81 persons lost power in one of its two engines shortly after takeoff Wednesday and turned around and landed safely at the Melbourne Airport, an Eastern spokesman said. The cause of the engine problem has not been determined.
