NME broke ground on two rehabilitation hospitals.
The Los Angeles-based health-care company will build an $8.7-million, 80-bed facility in Montgomery, Ala., and a $7.2-million, 54-bed hospital in Fort Smith, Ark. Scheduled to open late next fall, the facilities will provide speech, physical and other therapies. The two hospitals will be operated by National Medical Enterprises’ Rehab Hospital Services Corp. subsidiary.
