USIU8s Hockey Team Loses to Denver, 7-4

Dwight Mathiasen scored two goals and assisted on another to lead Denver Univeristy the nation’s No. 1 team hockey team, to a 7-4 victory over U.S International University in a nonconference game Friday night at the Mira Mesa House of Ice.
Denver (16-4) led, 5-4, after two periods, then put away athe game witha pair of goals -- one by mathiasen in the third period. USIU fell to 7-8.
