A single-engine plane carrying six people dived out of heavy clouds and crashed into ice-covered Lake Columbia on Sunday, killing everyone aboard, authorities said.
Divers worked in 20-degree temperatures to recover the bodies of the two children and four adults from the plane, which came to rest in about 12 feet of water. The lake is in southeastern Michigan.
