The U.S. deficit totaled $33.39 billion last month.

November’s imbalance between spending and revenue was up 23% from October’s $27.09 billion deficit, the Treasury Department reported. For the first two months of the 1986 fiscal year, the deficit totaled $60.47 billion, up 6% from the same period last year.
