Fluorocarbon Co. said last week it has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission to issue $25 million of convertible subordinated debenture, due 2011. Smith Barney, Harris Upham & Co. Inc. will be the sole underwriter. Net proceeds from the offering will be used for retiring senior indebtedness and for general corporate purposes and acquisitions.
