UNICEF Report
Thank you for publishing the article on the report from UNICEF. Reading about the one million children saved through immunization evoked the feeling of “what a great Christmas present.” Sounds corny, but that was my gut reaction. Just think, one million children would have died otherwise!
Millions more could live if all of us try to do something. How would you feel if it were your children dying of a sickness that was preventable? Do something! Contact your members of Congress and ask them to co-sponsor S-1917 and HR 3894. These bills will bring us closer to the goal of world immunization by 1990. And imagine the gift of Christmas that could be! The gift of life is for everyone.
