Medical Helicopter Crashes; 3 Injured

MONUMENT VALLEY, Utah —
An emergency medical rescue helicopter bound for Colorado struck a power line during takeoff and crashed, injuring three people, officials said.
The pilot of the Air Life helicopter was in critical condition with internal bleeding and underwent surgery at Monument Valley Hospital, officials said. The other members of the crew were in serious condition.
The crew, from Grand Junction, Colo., arrived here Tuesday night to assist in a premature birth.
