BUFFALO, N.Y. —
A teen-age bank robbery suspect who surrendered to police is under investigation in a yearlong spree of bank holdups in the city, authorities said Saturday.
Christopher Fewell, 16, surrendered Friday and was arraigned in city court on a charge of first-degree robbery in a Dec. 13 holdup. “He’s considered a possible suspect in almost half of the (13) bank robberies that occurred in the city of Buffalo in 1985,” Lt. Edward Muldowney said.
