Pope Plans Trip to India

VATICAN CITY —
Pope John Paul II’s 10-day trip to India next month will take him to 14 cities and include a visit to the house of Mother Teresa, the Vatican announced Friday. The visit will be John Paul’s 29th trip abroad since he became Pope in 1978 and his first to India. Pope Paul VI visited Bombay in December, 1964.
