Oleg Pinsky, a member of a Hollywood street “family” whose murder case ended in a mistrial this week, will be retried in February. Despite the jury’s 7-5 deadlock in favor of acquittal, Deputy Dist. Atty. Rita Stapleton said the case will be retried because “the evidence is more than sufficient.” Pinsky, 20, is one of three members of a so-called “mini-Manson family” charged with the murder of Carlos Pena, who the trio had picked up near a bus stop in Hollywood.
