Silicon General Semiconductor, the Garden Grove division of Silicon General Inc. of Concord, has named Charles Thompson, 48, as its new executive vice president and general manager. Thompson, who replaces George Holmes, worked for TRW in a variety of management positions for the last 23 years. Holmes now heads the military products group within Silicon General Semiconductor’s Garden Grove facility.
