WASHINGTON —
Investigators combing the site of a Dec. 12 military charter plane crash in Newfoundland discovered the body of a victim on Friday, more than a month after authorities thought they had recovered all such remains.
The Army, in a statement released at the Pentagon, said Army specialists and members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police “found the remains of a crash victim during snow-melting operations at the site on Friday.”
The discovery of the body was made near the airport at Gander, Newfoundland.
