Well, well! We’re only just across the threshold into 1986 and the obstreperous Dr. Marvin H. Leaf has already managed to shatter the idyll of the new year with more of his ubiquitous verbal flatulence (Calendar Letters, Jan. 12).
Seemingly week after week, we are bombarded with still another of his endless tirades on rock music. Why must you keep printing these drivel-drenched diatribes from a man who unquestionably has no understanding of this musical genre. Now, were he to limit his writing to that which he knows of. . . .
Please, please, terminate this man’s “contract” before we are all forced to reach for the medicine jar.
