SUPER BABIES
As a veteran teacher of first-graders, relishing my precious time away from them, I was dismayed to find my favorite Calendar page dominated by letters by and about 6-year-olds.
I would much rather read letters about clever little dogs (Paolo the Wonderdog) and syphilitic kings (King Charles II) who look like other people.
Therefore, as an acknowledged expert, I shall now close this subject for you: Some 6-year-olds and their parents are very smart. Some are not.
