‘Older Drivers’

I refer to Alexandra Barr’s letter (Jan. 7), “Older Drivers.”
On Nov. 17, 1983, a 25-year-young man driver failed to stop for a marked crosswalk, running over and killing my wife and a friend who was visiting from New York. This proves clearly that one can not generalize about the age of drivers.
