Chamber Plans Business Guide

Cathy Wong, newly reelected president of the Beverly-Fairfax Chamber of Commerce, said the group hopes to produce a business directory in 1986.

Wong, manager of Gill’s Chinese Laundry, said the directory will promote “the new Beverly-Fairfax with its Old World cultures.”

She also said the group will strive to improve parking and traffic flow and spruce up the business district with paint, signs, awnings and palm trees as part of a program administered by the city-supported Vitalize Fairfax program.

Wong has been a member of the chamber since 1979. She was first elected president last year.
