Abortion opponents held demonstrations in several cities over the weekend, gearing up for a protest in Washington this week to mark the 13th anniversary of the Supreme Court ruling legalizing abortion. Pro-choice activists also planned to mark the anniversary, including a “back alley” rally in Charleston, W. Va., on Tuesday aimed at recalling the days before the Jan. 22, 1973, Roe vs. Wade ruling.
