Owens-Corning Fiberglas reported that its fourth-quarter net earnings rose 31.4% from a year earlier. Year-end adjustments in both years’ fourth quarters were about the same. For the year, net earnings increased 15.2%. Net earnings for the full year reflect a gain of $24 million to a previously announced cancellation of a contract to a subsidiary. Fourth-quarter revenues, which for the first time include results from the aerospace and strategic materials group, were up 27%.
