Rams selected were linebacker Jim Collins, punter Dale Hatcher, punt returner Henry Ellard and kickoff returner Ron Brown. The Raiders picked were running back Marcus Allen, tight end Todd Christensen and cornerback Mike Haynes. The weekly publication also announced that Mike Ditka of the Chicago Bears was its Coach of the Year.
