Clorox Co. posted net earnings of more than $40 million for the six months ended Dec. 31, up 14% from the same period in 1984. Revenue was up 5% for the six months. Net sales for the last half of 1985 were more than $492 million, the company said. Clorox’s best-known product, its liquid bleach, had record shipments.
