Gov. Evans Undergoes Operation on Prostate

BOISE, Ida. —
Idaho Gov. John V. Evans, 61, already sidelined from his Senate campaign by a broken ankle, underwent surgery Thursday to remove what doctors described as a “benign enlargement” of the prostate obstructing his urinary tract.
