Prison Escapee Suspected in 3 Kidnapings Arrested

ATLANTA —
A Louisiana prison escapee blamed for at least three kidnapings in his eight days on the run was captured when a policeman spotted the stolen car he was driving, officials said Saturday.
Lawrence Bryan Klaker, 28, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., was arrested Friday. He faces charges of armed robbery, assault and motor vehicle theft, and federal charges of kidnaping and bank robbery.
