Kennedy to See Gorbachev

WASHINGTON —
Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.) will travel to the Soviet Union this week for a meeting with Soviet leader Mikhail S. Gorbachev, the senator’s office announced Monday. It said the trip stemmed from an invitation from the Supreme Soviet.
