Koch Hits Sanctuary Move

New York City Mayor Edward Koch said Tuesday that he thinks Los Angeles should have its “head examined” for declaring itself a sanctuary for illegal aliens fleeing violence in Central America.
Speaking at a Beverly Hills Hotel luncheon during a tour promoting his new book, Koch denounced the symbolic movement as “ridiculous,” saying that New York does not even consider immigration status when providing city services.
