Santa Monica : Airport Annexation Sought
City officials have applied to the city of Los Angeles to annex a 34-acre parcel at Santa Monica Airport.
The land is technically part of Los Angeles, although sections of the parcel make up part of the airport’s runway and taxiway, City Manager John Jalili said. The City Council last week directed the city staff to apply to the Local Agency Formation Commission for the annexation.
