You’re All Right, Jack

Come on, Tamar Kurtz ( Letters, Jan. 5 ); surely you jest. By your teeing off on Jack Smith, one must assume that you read the Los Angeles Times only on an occasional Sunday. Don’t you really know Jack? Or are you kidding? There is no gentleman less “sexist” (your word) or more insightful and appreciative regarding women, no one more delightful than everybody’s friend here in L.A. Where have you been for the past 15 years or so, hidden away in Escondido? The Times is a daily paper. Why don’t you read Jack Smith’s column on a regular basis and get acquainted?
