Sym-Tek Systems reported that net income fell 47% to $287,000 and revenues fell 37% for the third quarter ended Dec. 31. For the nine-month period, net income fell 7% to $929,000 and revenues fell 13%. The firm said “difficulties confronting the semiconductor industry as a group” for the profit and revenue slides.

Sym-Tek produces automatic environmental test handling equipment for the semiconductor industry.
