Glen Nickerman, the operator of a flight school and aircraft sales and maintenance business at El Monte Airport, has pleaded no contest to three misdemeanor tax charges and has been placed on three years probation, according to authorities. Nickerman, the proprietor of G & H Aircraft, entered his plea Jan. 22 in Rio Hondo Court before Judge William Jacobson.

He was charged on Dec. 6 with 10 violations of the state unemployment insurance code. Deputy Dist. Atty. John Benson said seven counts were dismissed, but Nickerman pleaded no contest to failing to file payroll tax returns for the second quarter of 1984 and failing to withhold personal income tax deductions for employees for the second and third quarters of 1984.

Nickerman, 56, was fined $2,000 and ordered to pay the back taxes, plus penalties and interest, said Patricia John, a tax compliance representative for the Employment Development Department. John said the taxes, penalties and interest total about $14,900.
